Natalie & Jason Jorgensen Farms Oak Grove Wedding

We could not have asked for a more beautiful spring day to have an outdoor greenhouse wedding at one of my favorite Ohio venues, Jorgensen Farms- Oak Grove. The sun was shinning and we had a perfect sunset in the evening behind the gorgeous tree line. Even though there were stunning views and every detail was literally perfect, my favorite part was seeing how happy these two were together. You could just see the pure happiness in their eyes when they first saw each other. After a beautiful ceremony and some fun photos in the field, Natalie & Jason had a little surprise for their guests. They were intorudced into the reception by the OSU band! After a few songs by the band and a wonderful dinner, we partied all night long until it was time to send them off with some sparklers!

I am so grateful to have a part in their big day and can’t wait to share many more photos with them!

Ali & Luke | Classic Columbus Wedding at The Annex at 801

This gorgeous, classic wedding was an amazing way to start off my 2019 wedding season. After having a pretty quiet off season, it was great to be back out there doing what I love most!

The simple black bridesmaids dresses paired with a whole lot of greenery made for the perfect modern and classic wedding day look. Ali & Luke shared their first look on the steps outside along the columns of the Ohio Statehouse. It was supposed to rain this day, but we were able to luck out with just some overcast skies.

A short and sweet ceremony took place at Grace Fellowship in Upper Arlington followed by a giant dance party at the Annex at 801. We knocked out all of the photos we needed before the reception so Ali & Luke were able to enjoy cocktail hour and to mingle with their guests. My favorite detail of the day was when Ali & Luke put on Mr. & Mrs. aprons and served dinner to their guests! I have never seen this before and thought it was such a cool idea! They also probably had the best first dance I have ever seen, which was so much fun to photograph. These two sure know how to get down on the dance floor! I had an amazing day with these two and can’t wait to deliver their gallery soon!

Tiffany & Johnathan | Eden Springs Farmstead Kentucky Wedding

I had the opportunity of knowing Tiffany and Johnathan since my first year of business. We first talked on the phone about wedding plans about two years ago! It’s so fun to be a part of a couples journey for so long leading up to their wedding day. I met Tiffany & Johnathan at their new house down in Lexington Kentucky for their engagement session. I was so pumped as soon as they said they wanted an in-home session in their new house, AND THEN they said they wanted to finish off their session at a brewery! If you know anything about me you know I LOVE unique photoshoot opportunities and challenging my creativity, so I was all in. This ended up being one of my favorite engagement sessions to date and was one of my first publications. The natural love these two have for each other is so easy to capture on camera and makes my job so much fun! I was so excited to photograph these two again on their wedding day. It was just as I expected it to be, perfect. I was so happy to celebrate this day with Tiffany & Johnathan and I can’t wait to finally share some of my favorite photos! The Vue Columbus Wedding | Leah & Jack

I remember back when Leah, Jack, and I met for our very first meeting. We connected over mutual friends and instantly knew we would be a good fit for each other. The excitement Leah shared about having me as her photographer was so comforting and only made me even more excited to shoot their big day.

I always think there is something special about getting ready in the comfort of you own home. I met the girls at Leah's parents house, which had a gorgeous sun room that was perfect for getting ready photos and all of the little details. While Leah and her bridesmaids were finishing up their hair, I started off the day shooting some gorgeous details consisting of my all favorite pastel colors. The dusty blues and blush colors are one of my favorite wedding trends right now. 

I really do love shooting weddings in a new location. I love the challenge and excitement for finding a perfectly lit location for portraits. After shooting many weddings around Columbus, this is the first time I had the opportunity to photograph a reception at The Vue. This was a beautiful space filled with the perfect mix of rustic and modern decorations. It is also in a prime location downtown which allows the opportunity to take a variety of portraits and even sneak away in the evening for some gorgeous sunset photos.
