These two shared a beautiful evening at Ault Park with Karissa for their engagement session. Even though it was a busy Saturday evening at the park, you can’t even tell in these photos! This is why you should always have trust in your photographer to create some magic in any situation! I loved Evan & Chris’ mix of elegant and casual outfits to get a variety of photos from their session. I always recommend this to my couples to get different looks for their shoot! Below are some of my favorites from their session last weekend and we are SO PUMPED for their 2022 wedding!
Sami & George Smale Park Engagement
I had such a good evening downtown with Sami & George. We were a little worried when we saw all of the Reds fans lining up for the game but we were able to find the perfect spots for their photos at Smale Park. The weather was seriously so perfect and we caught some beautiful golden hour light at the end of our session! I was so in love with Sami’s dresses that she wore for the shoot that I literally went home and bought one of them right away to have for wedding season! We had so much fun and their July wedding can’t come soon enough!
Cooper & Autumn Snowy Cincinnati Engagement
I had another beautiful snowy engagement session right before all the snow melted earlier this week! I am so excited we snuck this one in just in time AND had some gorgeous sunny weather. We were pretty lucky that it was not that cold so we were able to spend even more time shooting around Washington Park and down along the Ohio River at Smale Park. I had so much fun with these two and their pups and can’t wait for their fall wedding this year!!
Cassie & Corry Engagement Session at Alms Park
We finally had an evening without the high temps and humidity here in Cincinnati and we definitely took advantage of that! I strolled around Alms Park with Cassie & Corry for their engagement session and had the chance to share the evening with their two pups as well! Fun fact: They have a dog named Joey after Joey Votto and one of my cats is also named Joey after Joey Votto. So funny! These two have known each other since they were younger and then started dating after they reconnected after college. They were engaged right after Christmas and love exploring the city and learning about the rich history Cincinnati has to offer. I can’t wait until their May wedding next year and to celebrate with them at Lake Lyndsay!
Megan & Dominic Engagement
One of my favorite things about my job is reconnecting with familiar faces. I played volleyball against Megan back in High School in Columbus and then again in College and now I am photographing her wedding next year! I truly love already having a connection with my couples and it makes my job so much fun. Although our engagement session started with some rain, we waited it out for a few minutes and I am so glad we did. The passing storm created a dramatic sky and helped create some beautiful photos. I am so excited to share a few of my favorites from our session below and can’t wait to celebrate with these two next year!
Taylor & AJ Engagement Session
Taylor and AJ wanted to have their engagement photos taken on their family’s lavender farm. Although the lavender bushes were not in full bloom yet, it was such a stunning property with many open fields and pine trees to choose from! It was so much fun running through the tall grass with them and finally meeting before their October wedding! These two are the sweetest and so much fun, I can’t wait to celebrate with them this fall!
