Classic Wedding at Amelita Mirolo Barn

It was a chilly and rainy morning and I knew many of Kelsey and Brennan's wedding plans would have to be adjusted throughout the day. Thankfully, we had reservations to take some indoor wedding photos at the Ohio State House. This worked out perfectly because we were still able to have their first look outside under the covered columns. It sure didn't look like a rainy day from those photos!

Even though we had plans to walk over to the Scioto Mile, we were able to take some fun bridal party and family photos inside the state house. This was my first time inside and it literally took my breath away! Staying all in one location also gave us plenty of time to take the photos we wanted and more! We were relaxed and had plenty of time to head over to the venue and get ready for the ceremony. The inside of Amelita Mirolo Barn was beautiful and still allowed plenty of light to come in! We made the best of this rainy day and I was so glad to spend it with these two!

This beautiful venue will sneak up on you because it is tucked right into the streets of Delaware. When I pulled up to the venue, my jaw dropped at how gorgeous the setup was outside. Old Blue Rooster Barn | Columbus Wedding

First off, I am in love with outdoor weddings and was extremely excited for Brady & Alicia's! This was my first time at the Old Blue Rooster Barn and I was looking forward to shooting somewhere new. I heard all of Alicia's decoration plans during our final meeting and couldn't wait to see how everything would turn out.

These two are such a fun couple and brought so many creative ideas to life. The girls had a shot ski, which I of course LOVED! They also had a glow stick send off, (how fun?!) and a Jenga guest book to sign. They were so much fun to work with and I am so thankful they chose me to capture their special day.

Jorgensen Farms Summer Wedding - Columbus Ohio Weddings

One of the sweetest weddings at one of my favorite Columbus wedding venues, Jorgensen Farms. Chloe and Jayson are the kindest couple you can possibly imagine. They were both full of smiles and laughter throughout the day and you could tell the amount of joy they bring to each other. I couldn't help but smile when they said their "I do's" and as they celebrated down the aisle after being officially announced as husband and wife. They had many friends and family there to witness this day and they had probably one of the most entertaining bridal parties I have ever worked with.  They were so much fun! Take a peek at the groomsman photos and you'll see what I mean. 

It was extremely hard for me to choose my favorites for this blog! There were so many beautiful moments this day and I can't wait to share the rest with them! Congrats to Chloe and Jayson and thank you for letting me capture your big day! Check out some of the amazing Columbus vendors below!
