We started off this beautiful evening at Carbello Coffee Company in Newport Kentucky, and if you guys know anything about me, you know that I was SO pumped to shoot at a coffee shop! This was actually my first time there and it was way bigger than I was expecting. They also had a cute outdoor area that had gorgeous pink trees in full bloom, so I obviously had to take full advantage of that! Don’t miss the super cute mugs Chelsey bought for the shoot! I’m OBSESSED! After Carbello, we went down to the other side of the river to Smale Park and grabbed a few more photos for sunset. I had so much fun with Chelsey & Logan connecting over coffee and cats and I can’t wait for their wedding day!
Summer Strawberry Field Session
Summer is quickly approaching and I’ve been wanting to do a couples picnic session for quite some time now. Blooms and Berries Farm, just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio is currently ready for Strawberry picking season. As soon as I heard of this, I knew it would make an adorable photo session. Kaitlin & Tim were up for the adventure and after a toasty day of picking strawberries, we cooled off in the shade with some champagne and a cute little picnic. As you will see below, we had so much fun during this shoot and I fell in LOVE with this idea and plan on using it for future sessions!
Brittany & Andrew | Schiller Park Engagement Session
Rachel & Charles | Highbanks Engagement Session
This was a special session to me because Rachel was a good friend of mine back in middle school and in high school. It is so fun to catch up with friends and even better to capture their engagement photos and soon to be wedding photos! These two wanted an outdoorsy feel and we sure got some gorgeous color at Highbanks Park. Rachel and Charles were in the moment which made it super easy to photograph! You can tell how much joy they bring to each other and how happy they are with the spilling laughs that happened every second! These two are just too cute for me to handle and I am so excited to be there to capture their love for one another. Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session!
Ali & Luke Engagement Session
I started off my Columbus engagement session marathon with a morning session with Ali and Luke. It was the morning after the time change so we had an extra hour of sleep and some brighter light, all of which I was thrilled about. Other than some chilly winds to start off the day, it was beautiful and overcast and an absolutely perfect morning from a photographers view!
We searched around Fred Beekman park for some colorful trees and we were pretty darn successful. Take a look at all the color from their engagement session and you will fall in love! We also had time to do some workout photos. You know me, I love anything unique and special to the couple, so I was all about it! I can’t wait for their wedding that is right around the corner is February!
Fall Cincinnati Engagement Session Ault Park | Katie & Casey
I am over here really trying to take advantage of these beautiful fall colors right now in Cincinnati. Most of my couples try to schedule fall engagement sessions, which means I am really busy during these colorful two weeks, and I’m loving every second of it! I will be heading to Columbus tomorrow to shoot four back to back engagement sessions. I will for sure be having a Starbucks in hand as I’m driving to each one.
In my short month and a half in Cincinnati, I have done all of my sessions at Ault Park, which I absolutely love because it is gorgeous and so huge! The trees are basically perfect right now, so I was so excited for this engagement session. We had a beautiful evening and I had completely forgot these two were bringing their pup to the session, so this was a wonderful surprise for me! I absolutely love animals so I get really excited when people bring their dogs to sessions. This girl will also be in attendance of their wedding so I guess you will have to follow along until their wedding day to see some photos of this little cutie!
