We started off this beautiful evening at Carbello Coffee Company in Newport Kentucky, and if you guys know anything about me, you know that I was SO pumped to shoot at a coffee shop! This was actually my first time there and it was way bigger than I was expecting. They also had a cute outdoor area that had gorgeous pink trees in full bloom, so I obviously had to take full advantage of that! Don’t miss the super cute mugs Chelsey bought for the shoot! I’m OBSESSED! After Carbello, we went down to the other side of the river to Smale Park and grabbed a few more photos for sunset. I had so much fun with Chelsey & Logan connecting over coffee and cats and I can’t wait for their wedding day!
Cooper & Autumn Snowy Cincinnati Engagement
I had another beautiful snowy engagement session right before all the snow melted earlier this week! I am so excited we snuck this one in just in time AND had some gorgeous sunny weather. We were pretty lucky that it was not that cold so we were able to spend even more time shooting around Washington Park and down along the Ohio River at Smale Park. I had so much fun with these two and their pups and can’t wait for their fall wedding this year!!
Key West Beach Proposal | Kati & Drew
At the beginning of the month Chris and I traveled to Key West with our good friends Kati & Drew. We had this trip planned for months, but when I found out that Drew was planning on proposing to Kati while we were down there, I was even more excited! The plan was to take a morning stroll on the beach and then celebrate all weekend. Drew picked out Fort Zachary Taylor State Park Beach which is the most southern point of the continental US. We walked along the beach and he popped the question! It was such a sweet moment and I was so honored to be a part of it. I am so happy for these guys and had a ton of fun celebrating with them all weekend. Below are a few of my favorites photos from the proposal!
Lainy & Blake Snowy Downtown Engagement
It’s not very often I have couples willing to brave a snowstorm for their engagement photos. I was SO EXCITED when Lainy & Blake specifically requested a wintery downtown session. We actually had this date picked out a few months ago and it happened to be during the snowiest week in Cincinnati. Although it was very cold, it was so worth it and I love how these turned out. Below are some of my favorites from their engagement session.
Maddie & Tony Engagement Columbus
I really do love those brick streets down through German Village. Add in the golden hour glow and that’s a photographers dream. I had so much fun meeting Maddie & Tony and spending the evening with them in Columbus. It has been awhile since I drove up for an engagement shoot and it felt great to be back at two of my favorite spots! We were supposed to get some rain for this session, but we stuck with it and I’m so glad we did. These two are so sweet and I can’t wait for their wedding next year!
Alix & Matt Engagement Cincinnati Smale Park
We had an absolutely beautiful evening for an engagement session this past weekend and I’m TOO EXCITED to share some of these photos with Alix & Matt. We had a perfect evening down at Smale Park and their pup Maybelle even joined us for a few photos! How stinking cute is she?! I’m a little bit obsessed with her! Check out some of my favorites from their session below.
